Professional Biographical Information:

Ted C. Baggett currently serves as the deputy general counsel for the Georgia Municipal Association, where he consults with city attorneys, elected officials and appointed officials on governmental law. He has authored several publications on municipal legal topics and helps to write, edit and publish Legal Briefs, a quarterly newsletter which summarizes recent case law and legal developments of interest to municipal practitioners. Previously, Baggett worked as an assistant district attorney for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit of Georgia. He graduated from Emory University in 1994 with a B.A. in political science and went on to earn his law degree from the University of Georgia in 1999. While at Georgia Law, Baggett served as articles and notes editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.
