Professional Biographical Information:

J. Ralph Beaird is dean emeritus and a long-time faculty member of the University of Georgia School of Law.  Since leaving the full-time faculty, he has been actively engaged in the practice of law as a member of the Athens firm of Blasingame, Burch, Garrard, Bryant & Ashley.  Before joining the faculty, he served in the Solicitor's Office of the U.S. Department of Labor.  His law degrees are from the University of Alabama and George Washington University.
