Professional Biographical Information:

In addition to former Superior Court Judge Stephen E. Boswell’s experience on the bench, he has worked for more than 15 years in private practice, specializing in misdemeanor and felony criminal, civil and domestic jury trial cases as well as alternative dispute resolution. His career on the bench began in 1982, when he was elected as a superior court judge for Clayton County. He served in this capacity continuously through 1992. In January 2003, Boswell again served as an elected superior court judge through 2006.  Boswell earned his bachelor's degree in history in 1969 and his law degree in 1974, both from the University of Georgia.  Prior to law school, he served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971.  He currently serves as of counsel at Finch McCranie in Atlanta.
