Eric
Croone, a solo practitioner in Atlanta, Ga., joins Georgia Law as an
adjunct professor. Previously, Croone worked for the Turner
Entertainment Group where he was a member of the music law group.
There, he was responsible for providing legal advice on music-related
issues for the Cartoon Network and the Williams Street record label, as
well as drafting and negotiating a variety of legal agreements and
licenses. He has also worked as an attorney at the Parks Group, an
entertainment law firm in Atlanta, as general manager and counsel for
US Records/J-Records/SONY-BMG and Aquemini/Columbia Records, and as
vice president of business and legal affairs for LaFace/Arista Records
for almost six years. Croone graduated from Emory University in 1990
with a bachelor's degree, earned his J.D. from the University of
Virginia in 1993 and obtained a Master of Business Administration from
Georgia State University in 2003.
