Professional Biographical Information:

A 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, F. Russell Denton is a staff attorney with the Atlanta law firm King & Spalding, where he serves on the intellectual property team and previously served on the environmental tort team.  After graduating from Georgia Law, he was the chief operating officer and in-house counsel for ZymeX Pharmaceuticals.  He has also been an independent attorney and consultant for Aqua Vitae Enterprises, DermaMax and Nutracare of Georgia.  Before entering law school, Denton worked in the Energy Products Division of Motorola, where he served as a patent liaison, initiated strategic partnerships and licensing, and led a product development team.  He co-authored an article, “Random Walks, Non-Cooperative Games, and the Complex Mathematics of Patent Pricing,” with Georgia Law Post Professor Paul J. Heald, which was published in the Rutgers Law Review in 2003.
