Wendy
Glasbrenner has spent her 28-year law career working for the Georgia
Legal Services Program. She began as staff attorney in 1979
and then moved from lead attorney to managing attorney. As
managing attorney since 1999, she supervises all legal work, trains
attorneys and manages the Gainesville Regional Office. She is
actively involved in the community and currently works with the
Northeast Georgia AIDS Alliance, the Hall County Commission on Children
and Families, and the Northeastern Circuit Domestic Violence Task
Force. In addition, she is the founding president of Rape
Response and the Northeast Georgia National Organization for
Women. In 2001, she received the Chief Justice Robert Benham
Award for Community Service. Glasbrenner graduated in 1975 from
the University of Georgia magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa
with a bachelor's degree in English. She then earned her law
degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1979.
