Poillot joins Georgia Law for the fall semester of 2007 as a visiting
professor from the University Jean Moulin-Lyon III. She has taught
courses at Jean Moulin-Lyon III in contract law, legal personality,
property law, comparative legal systems, comparative and European law,
as well as English law for French students and French tort law for
Italian students at the Institut de droit comparé Edouard Lambert and
the University of Piemonte Orientale, respectively.
She is the author of the book Droit européen de la consummation et uniformisation du droit des contrats
(European Consumer Law and Standardisation of the Law of Contract).
Poillot has also authored a number of articles appearing in major
European legal publications.
Poillot earned her Maîtrise en droit (French law degree) in 1994,
completed the DEA en Droit Privé de l'Economie (postgraduate program in
French private business law) in 1996 and obtained her Doctorat en
Droit Privé (Ph.D. in law) in 2004.
