Sarah
Schindler joins Georgia Law in the fall of 2008 as a visiting assistant
professor teaching courses in real estate transactions and animal
law. She occupies a one-year teaching position aimed at aiding
superior former Georgia Law students in gaining entry into the legal
academy. She comes to UGA from the Morrison & Foerster law firm in
San Francisco, Ca., where she worked in the Land Use and Environmental
Law Group beginning in 2004. Previously, Schindler served as a
judicial clerk for Judge Will Garwood of the U.S. Court of Appeals for
the Fifth Circuit and interned at the White House in the Office of
Presidential Letters and Messages. She has also served as an
adjunct substitute for animal law courses at the University of
California at Berkeley and the University of California at Hastings law
schools from 2006 to 2008. Schindler earned both her
undergraduate and law degrees, summa cum laude, from the
University of Georgia, where she was First Honor Graduate and second in
her class, respectively. At Georgia Law, she served on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
