we have all relaxed after a few days of no annoying construction noise
in the annex--it's time to test the system.
The word that we have is that the system installers will conduct a test
of the system on Thursday (2/6) sometime between 10 am and 3 pm.
We're guessing the huge window of time is because the fire marshal
actually has to be here for the test.
The test will involve the alarms sounding and a "pleasant female voice"
instructing everyone to exit the building. We'll let the brave souls
who are spending five hours on edge waiting for the event remain seated.
We sincerely hope this is the last commotion in connection with this
system for a very long time.
Law Library has replaced the old and rusted-out book drop that used to
greet you at the entrance to the Law School. In addition to enhancing
the "curb appeal" of the entrance,
the shiny new book drop provides better protection to the materials
placed in it.
Please note that the book drop is only able to accept materials during
times when the Law Library is closed. When the Law Library is open,
please return materials to the Circulation Desk.
