Many conversations in the U.S. about situations of armed conflict – within civil society, academia, and the U.S. government – center on “national security law,” often drawing primarily from domestic law and military perspectives. International law is sometimes set aside in these discussions. This workshop aims to draw the international legal aspects of armed conflicts to the forefront once again.
The Program in Law, Science & Technology at Stanford Law School will host the Sixteenth Annual Intellectual Property Scholars Conference on August 11-12, 2016.

Call for Papers and Panels - Critical Perspectives on Culture and Preservation: Precarity in our Past, Present, and Future Cultural Heritages
This year’s Critical Legal Conference will feature a stream on “Critical Perspectives on Culture and Preservation: Precarity in our Past, Present, and Future Cultural Heritages”, for which both paper and panel submissions are encouraged. The conference occurs between September 1st and 3rd, 2016 at Kent University.
The Vienna Journal on International Constitutional Law invites submissions for a conference to be held Sept. 23, 2016 at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Submissions are due May 15, 2016.
The University of South Dakota School of Law will host a juvenile law symposium September 30, 2016, and in conjunction, the South Dakota Law Review will publish a symposium issue in Spring 2017, highlighting this important topic. Submissions are due byOct. 14, 2016.
The South Dakota Law Review is currently accepting submissions for articles or essays pertaining to juvenile law topics. Ideally, submissions should be 15-30 pages long.
