The Annual Junior Faculty Forum for International Law is delighted to announce its yearly call for applications for the fifth Forum, which will be held at New York University School of Law on Monday June 27, Tuesday June 28 and Wednesday June 29, 2016.
Panelists are sought for an international conference on “Intersections in International Cultural Heritage Law,” to be hosted by Georgetown University Law Center (Washington, DC) on March 29, 2016. A recent spate of threats to cultural heritage, including in Syria, Iraq, Nepal, and Yemen, has led to increased focus on the scope of international law governing cultural heritage protection. This conference aims to convene panelists who will present papers that explore primary points of intersection between public international law and cultural heritage law.
PluriCourts, Center of Excellence for the Study of the Legitimacy of International Courts and Tribunals at the University of Oslo, will host the 14th Annual Colloquium of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law, 20-25 June 2016 (http://iucnael2016.no). A CALL FOR PAPERS ON FREE SPEECH IN HIGHER EDUCATION
The First Amendment Law Review (FALR) at the University of North Carolina School of Law is currently accepting submissions for brief but engaging articles related to free speech in higher education. As these submissions will be considered for publication in our symposium issue, shorter articles (less than 30 pages) are preferred, but longer articles will still be considered.
