The Center for Law and Intellectual Property (CLIP) at Texas A&M University School of Law is proud to present the inaugural Texas A&M Intellectual Property Scholars Roundtable, which will be held on Friday-Saturday, October 9-10, 2015. Bringing together intellectual property and technology law scholars, this interdisciplinary event will provide academics with an annual forum for sharing research and peer networking.
The 2016 Biennial Conference of the Legal Writing Institute will bring together legal-writing professors and other members of the legal academy and practicing bar. The conference this year has a renewed goal of building our sense of community. In LWI’s always collegial and collaborative environment, colleagues will have a chance to meet, reconnect, and share ideas about pedagogy, scholarship, and professional growth.

The Searle Center on Law, Regulation, and Economic Growth is issuing a call for proposals for academic research projects using the Searle Center’s database on Technology Standards and Standard Setting Organizations (SSOs).
The selected research projects in economics, management strategy, and law can make use of original data on the rules and membership of SSOs, published technology standards, and declared standard-essential patents.
The Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair will be held August 5-7, 2015, in Chicago, IL. This year’s conference includes a Junior Scholars Forum.
