The Northwestern, Penn and Stanford Law Schools are pleased to announce that the Second Annual Junior Faculty Forum will be held at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago on September 28-29, 2018. The Forum is dedicated to interdisciplinary scholarship focusing on the intersection of Law and Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics (STEM). The Inaugural Forum was held in October 2017 at Penn Law.

The Berkeley Center for Law & Technology is pleased to host the 18th Annual Intellectual Property Scholars Conference (IPSC) on August 9-10, 2018.
After the dictatorships and armed conflicts of the latter half of the 20th century, Latin American security has entered a new stage. Politically motivated armed groups are subsiding, while new criminal actors (drug cartels, transnational gangs, and criminal organizations) are flourishing from Mexico to Brazil. The protection of human rights in the fight against crime is adapting to this new reality.

What role do reparations play in international law today? What is the theory behind reparations in different areas/systems of international law?
