The Committee of Non-State Actors of the International Law Association (ILA), The Institute for Transborder Studies (ITS) at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies, Oxford Brookes University, in collaboration with the ILA-Canada, the Flemish Scientific Research Fund (FWO, ‘the network’), and the Canadian Bar Association – British Columbia Branch invite papers on the responsibilities of non-state actors in international law for a conference in Vancouver on 27-28 June 2013.

The National Business Law Scholars Conference is seeking papers for the fourth annual meeting to be held June 12-13, 2013, at The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law.

The Hagley Center presents Business and Politics in 20th Century America on November 8, 2013. Conference organizers seek scholarship on the following:

Over the past ten years there has been a surge of new scholarship on the relationship between business and American politics in the twentieth century. Much of this work examines the efforts by business and business people to influence politics, often in response to the growth of the American federal government that began with the Progressive Era and continued with the mid-century New Deal.

The Changing Norms of Global Governance research group at the Institute of Intercultural and International Studies of the University of Bremen has issued a call for papers for a conference on “The Legitimation and Delegitimation of Global Governance Organizations,” to take place September 11-13, 2013. The annual Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law Informatics Symposium will be held on February, 15, 2013. The symposium will focus on “issues in labor and employment related to informatics, including such topics as media in the employment context, candidate screening practices, employee privacy, data security and appropriate policies, National Labor Relations Board actions, and proposed legislation to protect employee account access.”
