The Law and Society Association annual conference will be held in Toronto on June 7-10, 2018.
As usual, The Collaborative Research Network on Culture, Society, and IP (CRN 14) will help coordinate and sponsor both individual and complete session proposal submissions for this meeting. One benefit of CRN 14 sponsorship is that IP -related sessions will typically be scheduled so as not to overlap with other IP sessions. Professors Ghosh and Gallagher serve as co-chairs of CRN 14.
If you are interested in submitting an individual paper proposal, please submit to the LSA online by October 18, 2017. If you are submitting a complete session, please submit directly to LSA online by October 18, 2017.
If you would like your panel to be sponsored by CRN 14 (so as to not be scheduled with competing IP sessions), please also submit separately to Ghosh or Gallagher and we will make sure that LSA will schedule it not to compete with other IP sessions. The LSA will forward such proposals to CRN 14 for packaging into sessions, including adding Chairs and Discussants (if you are willing to volunteer as a Chair or Discussant for an IP session, please let Ghosh or Gallagher know (firstname.lastname@example.org; email@example.com)
When the final program is out in the Spring, we can work together to compile a list of IP-related sessions at the LSA meeting, whether in the CRN or not. That way attendees can plan their session hopping better.
