In recent years, the contours of a distinct transnational criminal law have emerged. To investigate the new practices and legal innovations around this form of law, iCourts invites papers for a multidisciplinary conference on the emerging forms of transnational criminal law.

The First Amendment Law Review (FALR) at the University of North Carolina School of Law is currently accepting submissions for brief but engaging articles related to free speech in higher education. As these submissions will be considered for publication in our symposium issue, shorter articles (less than 30 pages) are preferred, but longer articles will still be considered.

Call for Empirical Research Projects: In her recent testimony before Congress, U.S. Register of Copyrights Maria Pallante identified four important copyright policy areas in need of further study and analysis:
(1) DMCA safe harbors,
(2) DMCA anti-circumvention provision,
(3) Mass digitization, and
(4) Moral rights.
