The Graduate Institute’s Centre for Trade and Economic Integration and Georgetown University’s Institute of International Economic Law are proud to present a call for papers for our 2017 Conference on WTO Law.
The Annual Conference on WTO Law, which has its origins in the partnership created in the year 2000 between University Professor John H. Jackson of Georgetown, and Professor Sir Francis Jacobs, KCMG, QC, a Trustee of BIICL, has a longstanding affiliation with the Journal of International Economic Law (JIEL), published by the Oxford University Press.
IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law is pleased to announce the 2017 Law Review Symposium on Comparative and Cross-Border Issues in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law. The symposium will be held at Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago from November 30th to December 1st, 2017. In conjunction with Professor Adrian Walters of IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and Professor Christoph Henkel of the Mississippi College School of Law, the members of the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Law Review, are organizing the symposium.
The Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University, the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Israel and the Occupied Territories and the Emile Zola Chair for Human Rights at the College of Management Academic Studies are organizing an international conference that seeks to evaluate - 50 years after 1967 - the past, present and future of the law of belligerent occupation, using the Israel-Palestine context, as well as other relevant situations of occupation and domination, as case studies.

To help celebrate, we at the Dean Rusk International Law Center, University of Georgia School of Law, are delighted to host, at our Athens, Georgia campus, “IntLawGrrls! 10th Birthday Conference,” on March 3, 2017.
RATIONALE AND PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE: Economic development in Africa has been one of the most important issues on the global agenda. A number of development and law reform projects have been undertaken, but many African countries are yet to achieve successful economic development. The conference examines the development paths that have been taken in Africa over the years, discusses the challenges and explores new approaches to law and development that may yield better development results for Africa.
