The Northwestern, Penn and Stanford Law Schools are pleased to announce that the Second Annual Junior Faculty Forum will be held at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago on September 28-29, 2018. The Forum is dedicated to interdisciplinary scholarship focusing on the intersection of Law and Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics (STEM). The Inaugural Forum was held in October 2017 at Penn Law.

Since it began in 1997, the Law via the Internet conference (LVI) has been established as the foremost international conference addressing research in legal information access through the Internet. It is organized annually under the auspices of the Free Access to Law Movement (FALM), a consortium of more than 60 non-profit institutions dedicated to providing free and open access to the world’s law.
The Seattle Journal for Social Justice is excited to announce its symposium entitled “Police Brutality: Its Chilling Effect and Innovative Solutions” on Friday, April 6th, 2018. We will examine this crucial issue from contrasting perspectives. We hope to explore the challenges and fundamental changes needed to address this issue. The journal welcomes papers for presentation at this symposium and for potential publication in the Seattle Journal for Social Justice.
The Program on Rule of Law for Development (PROLAW) at Loyola University Chicago School of Law invites papers on complexity theory and its application to rule of law development practice to be presented at a conference to be held at Loyola’s Rome, Italy campus on 1-2 December 2017.
The Law and Society Association annual conference will be held in Toronto on June 7-10, 2018.
As usual, The Collaborative Research Network on Culture, Society, and IP (CRN 14) will help coordinate and sponsor both individual and complete session proposal submissions for this meeting. One benefit of CRN 14 sponsorship is that IP -related sessions will typically be scheduled so as not to overlap with other IP sessions. Professors Ghosh and Gallagher serve as co-chairs of CRN 14.
