Professional Biographical Information:
Anne
S. Moser joined Georgia Law’s staff in June 2004 as the director of
development. In this role, she will work to secure the financial
resources to support the school’s activities and advance the
institution further into the ranks of the top law schools in the nation.
Prior
to joining Georgia Law, Moser served in a similar role at UGA’s College
of Environment and Design. There she established three endowed
scholarships, totaling $175,000. In addition, she secured a $1 million
bequest from a former faculty member.
Moser’s 12 years of fund-raising experience also
includes serving as a major gifts officer at Wheaton College, located
in Massachusetts. There she secured over $1.8 million and helped
achieve the Campaign for Wheaton goal of raising $90 million. As a
regional development director at the National Kidney Foundation, she
managed the foundation’s regional board, public relations and fund
development committees and brought in close to $125,000 for the
organization.
Moser earned her
master’s degree from Northeastern University in Massachusetts and her
bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Connecticut.
She and her husband Robert, a UGA Franklin College of
Arts and Sciences faculty member, have two daughters, Evelyn and
Charlotte.
