School of Law Commencement Ceremony
Carol W. Hunstein, a justice serving on the Supreme Court of Georgia, will deliver the keynote address at the University of Georgia School of Law’s 2017. Hunstein was appointed to the Georgia Supreme Court in November 1992, becoming the second woman in history to serve as a permanent member of the court. From 2009 to 2013, she served as chief justice of the state’s highest court.
Approximately 180 students will receive their Juris Doctor and three students will receive their Master in the Study of Law at this year’s ceremony. Additionally, 13 Master of Laws candidates, who have completed one year of graduate legal study, will be recognized.
