Out: An Oral History of UGA Law’s Queer Faculty and Staff

Date:
Thursday, February 7, 2019 - 12:00pm to 12:50pm
Location:
Classroom A (120, Hirsch Hall)

The first-of-its-kind public conversation among UGA Law’s LGBT faculty and staff about their experiences navigating being queer at the law school. We expect the conversation to cover topics such as how being out at UGA Law has changed over the decades (and how it hasn’t changed), the importance of visible role models, and the significance of memorializing history.

The UGA Law Library will record the discussion for preservation in the school’s permanent collection.
