Edith House Lecture: Audrey Boone Tillman

The 37th Annual Edith House Lecture will be presented by Audrey Boone Tillman. Tillman currently serves as executive vice president and general counsel of Aflac Incorporated. Tillman received her bachelor’s from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in political science before completing her juris doctor at the University of Georgia School of Law. Tillman joined Aflac in 1996 as a member of Aflac's legal department, and was promoted to her current position in May 2014. Tillman was also recently selected as an award winner from the 2018 Women Worth Watching.

Please join us to hear Tillman’s insight regarding her role as general counsel and executive vice president, as well as her journey rising through the ranks of in house counsel for Aflac as a woman of color.

The lecture will be held on March 19, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. in the Hatton-Lovejoy Courtroom. WLSA and the Business Law Society will also co-host a reception in the Rotunda following the lecture.
