Cleveland Distinguished Chair of Legal Ethics and Professionalism Lonnie T. Brown Jr. was recently selected by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia to serve as the principal substantive consultant for the court's Civil Local Rules Revision Project.

Chaffin received The American Law Institute's 50-year membership medallion at the organization's annual meeting held in Washington, D.C., earlier this year. Chaffin was honored, along with eight other legal scholars nationwide, for his continuous service to the prestigious legal education society and was presented the award by ALI President Roberta Cooper Ramo.
