| Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law Published Three Times a Year by Students of the University of Georgia School of Law
Volume 36 will continue the International Journal's established tradition of presenting groundbreaking works regarding international matters. Issue 1 begins this undertaking with two timely and important articles and four profound student notes. The first article, written by Brian Patterson, senior counsel at the International Monetary Fund, discusses the jurisprudence of discrimination within the tribunals of the international civil service and proposes a new framework for analyzing cases of true discrimination. The second article, written by Leland Ware, University of Delaware Professor of Law and Public Policy, compares the treatment of unconscious and institutional discrimination in the United States and the United Kingdom. Issues 2 & 3 of Volume 36 will each also feature two articles and four student notes, including an article written by Manual Gomez, Florida International University Professor of Law, studing alternative dispute resolution usage and strategies in South America, and the effect of differing societal interaction paradigms on the success and acceptance of ADR. Building on the foundation established over the last thirty years, the International Journal promises to continue to excel through academic excellence and to ensure the Journal's internationally renowned reputation as one of the top student edited international publications in the world.
