Biographical Information

Lee Ann Bambach has previously taught on various aspects of religious law and Islamic finance laws. Prior to teaching, Bambach worked as a consultant and associate for Latham & Watkins in Washington, D.C., and clerked for the late Judge Sam J. Ervin III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Bambach earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown University and her master’s degree from Harvard University. She graduated summa cum laude from the UGA School of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif and was the editor in chief of the Georgia Law Review. She received her Ph.D. from Emory University.
