In order to preserve the uniquely useful nature of the Louis B. Sohn Collection on International Relations, the following categories of materials do not circulate:

• Items inscribed by the author or by eminent persons
• Manuscripts
• Items determined to be rare or valuable
• Fragile materials

All Sohn Collection items that circulate can be checked-out to eligible Law Library patrons for a 4-week period. Law school faculty are not subject to the 4-week period but must check out the items.

Patrons who are ineligible to borrow Sohn materials, or any patron wishing to use non-circulating Sohn materials, may use these items in the Sohn Library under the supervision of a Law Library employee.

Interlibrary Loan

The Sohn Collection materials which circulate are available for Interlibrary Loan.
