Over the years, the Law Library faculty and staff have received numerous accolades and awards including:

• May 2012 - Former Law Library Director Emeritus and Professor of Law Erwin Surrency inducted into the AALL Hall of Fame.
• April 2012 - The UGA Law Library placed in several categories, including best photo of Librarians as Teachers and Trainers, in the AALL "Day in the Life" photo contest
• May 2011 - The UGA Law Library placed in several categories, including best photo of Librarians as Information Evaluators and Managers, in the AALL "Day in the Life" photo contest
• June 2010 - Former Law Library Director and retired Professor E. Ann Puckett inducted into the inaugural class of AALL Hall of Fame.
• April 2010 - Faculty and Access Services Librarian James M. Donovan's Spectrum article Back Away from the Survey Monkey: Optimize Research Results with an Honest Assessment of Methodology was selected as Article of the Year.
