The Office of Legal Career Services (LCS) exists to provide students with the tools, resources, and guidance necessary to enable them to secure fulfilling employment in line with their career goals and individual qualifications.  Navigating the legal job search can be challenging, but LCS staff are committed to supporting you throughout the process.

Student Services

LCS offers many services to students, including: individual career counselingon-campus interviews (OCI), off-campus interview opportunities including job fairs, online job postings, job search strategies, resume and cover letter critiqueonline job resources, remote interviewing room (for video and telephone interviews), and faxing and postage for job search related materials.

Student Professional Development (SPD)

This office provides resources and educational programs to help equip students with the tools necessary to succeed in finding a job and beyond.  SPD programs cover areas such as legal specialties, networking skills, and interviewing skills, and helps students find mentors as well.

Judicial Clerkships

This password protected page offers information about these prestigious post-graduate jobs which can provide an excellent launch pad for positions in esteemed law firms, with the Department of Justice, and as a  U.S. Attorney, prosecutor, or public defender.
