Overview of Georgia Law Technology
|
The legal world is greatly benefiting from advances in modern
technology. In courtrooms, attorneys are arguing their clients' cases
by reconstructing crime and accident scenes on video visualizers,
projecting photos and evidence onto large screens, and citing case law
their co-counsels pull up on a laptop through the networked connections
at the counsel's table. In legal offices, lawyers are searching the top
legal databases for case law supporting their argument or perhaps
collaborating on a project electronically with a counterpart in another
country. While studying at UGA, you will have the opportunity to become
proficient with the latest technology available.
