| Recognizing
Significant Events in Staff Members' Lives Whenever a staff member in the Law Library experiences a significant event in her/his life,* the staff member or the staff member's supervisor will notify the Administrative Associate of the event.The Administrative Associate will, in turn, notify the dean's secretary who is in charge of sending the appropriate recognition. The Law Library as a separate entity will have no further official role in recognizing Law Library staff events.Nothing in this policy is intended to discourage individuals or groups on the Law Library staff from making additional efforts to recognize important milestones among their colleagues. *The Law School recognizes the same events for domestic partners of staff members as it does for spouses.
