The Law Library maintains a professional, highly trained reference team that is readily accessible to assist patrons in their reference and research needs. A professional reference librarian staffs the reference desk during the library's busiest hours of operation.

The duties of the reference team include: answering patron information requests accurately and promptly; helping library users locate information; providing assistance in legal research methodology; offering class presentations, research training sessions, and individual bibliographic instruction; selecting and maintaining a relevant and timely reference collection; and contributing to a conducive learning environment.
