Systematic weeding of the Law Library's collection is an integral part of collection maintenance. This process includes the discarding of materials no longer of value to the Law Library's patrons, including redundant, obsolete and inaccurate items. In general, decisions regarding items to be discarded or relocated shall be made by a librarian with an eye toward the Law Library's position as a major legal research facility in the Southeast. Such decisions will be influenced by the availability of materials elsewhere in the region.

Please note that this policy does not affect any of the items located in the Rare Book Room.
