Biographical Information

Michelle left the sunny shores of California to start an exciting new adventure in Georgia. She grew up in Los Angeles, but moved to Northern California where she studied Business Administration at the University of California - Berkeley. While in college, Michelle studied abroad for a semester at Fudan University’s Business and Economics Program in Shanghai, China. Somehow though, the move to Georgia seemed more daunting than moving across the ocean to China. However, she has found those pre-move jitters to be largely unwarranted as she is consistently surprised with the friendliness and beauty of Athens.

After thoroughly researching and thinking through her law school decision, Michelle decided that the University of Georgia Law would be the best place for her to continue her education and pursue her goal of getting a job with the government in financial regulation. Georgia Law’s excellent Business Law and Ethics Program, the fantastic value students receive compared with the tuition they pay, and the personal opportunity to grow by living in a socially and culturally different community made Georgia Law the best choice for her future.

Michelle's experience so far has only reinforced her belief that she made the right decision in choosing Georgia Law. The staff and faculty members here are friendly, helpful, and caring. Additionally, the supportive attitude amongst peers has been truly encouraging. When not hitting the books, Michelle enjoys exploring the gorgeous University of Georgia campus and indulging her inner foodie with restaurants in Athens.
