Speaker to explore gay equality at UGA School of Law’s 106th Sibley Lecture

"Noah's Curse and Paul's Admonition: Civil Rights, Religious Liberty, Gay Equality" will be the topic of Georgia Law's 106th Sibley Lecture, delivered by Yale Law School Garver Professor of Jurisprudence William Eskridge Jr. His presentation will take place March 18 at 3:30 p.m.

UGA School of Law places in quarterfinals at national environmental moot court competition

Georgia Law recently finished as a quarterfinalist at the Pace National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. This is the school's first year competing in this prestigious competition. Congratulations to second-year students Leah C. Beverly, Alan G. Jones, Krista M. Marino and their coach, third-year student Audrey A. Lewis, on an excellent job.


Third-year student John Seay to publish article in UCLA journal

Georgia Law third-year student John E. Seay had an article selected for publication in the UCLA Entertainment Law Review. Titled "Free Fallin': Legislative Strategies for Enabling Online Music Purveyors to Achieve Success and Provide the Music Industry with a Much Needed Boost," the article will appear this summer in Vol. 17 of the journal.
