UGA Alumni Association announces 4th annual Bulldog 100 list; includes three Georgia Law alumni

Three Georgia Law alumni made the 2013 class of the Bulldog 100 list sponsored by the University of Georgia Alumni Association, including Thomas L. Rowe (J.D.'86) for OTB Consulting, Sammy J. Grant (J.D.'00) for SG Financial Advisors and Ronald E. Mabra (J.D.'04) for The Mabra Firm. The program annually recognizes the fastest growing businesses that are owned or operated by UGA graduates.

Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Walter Hellerstein spoke on a panel that addressed "Applying VAT to International Trade - The Challenge of Economic Globalization" at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's first Global Forum on VAT. This invitation only event, which included participants from over 70 countries, as well as representatives from business and academia, took place in Paris, France, during November.
