Third-year law student selected for fellowship at Georgetown University

Third-year law student Texys V. Morris was one of three law students nationwide selected for an E. Barrett Prettyman Fellowship at Georgetown University Law Center. This two-year program, which leads to an LL.M. degree, is part of the school's Criminal Justice Clinic and trains recent law graduates in both the academic and practical aspects of courtroom advocacy through classroom instruction and the representation of indigent defendants in local courts.

Student Affairs Advisor Tricia Jonas Hackleman was recently honored for her work at Georgia Law with the 2010 Emma P. Terrell Employee of the Year Award. Given annually, this accolade recognizes and rewards outstanding employees for their service to the law school.
