Congratulations to second-year law students Gregory D. "Greg" Mark and Louise J. "Joe" Potente for finishing as finalists in the American Bar Association Regional Negotiation Competition in Miami. The team finished fourth overall.

Congratulations to third-year law students Sidney C. Eberhart and Sarah H. Newman for finishing as semi-finalists and winning Best Oral Team at the National Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition held at Mercer University. Third-year students Robert H. Daniel and Charles K. Thimmesch also finished as octo-finalists.

Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Emeritus Walter Hellerstein delivered a keynote address titled "Taxing Remote Sales in the Digital Age: A Global Perspective" at the American University Law Review Symposium in Washington, D.C., during November. The theme of the symposium was "Taxing Remote Sales in the Digital Age."
