Georgia Law was featured in the Athens Banner-Herald regarding the unveiling of the portraits of Hosch Professor Rebecca Hanner White and late Judge B. Avant Edenfield (J.D.'58), who served in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Georgia Law teams finish as regional semifinalists national mock trial competitions

Congratulations to two Georgia Law mock trial teams for finishing as regional semifinalists in their respective competitions. Third-year students Meredith A. Gardial and Benjamin P. "Ben" Ralston represented the law school in the Texas Bar Association National Trial Competition, and third-year students Meaghan A. Bowden, Kelly R. Holloway, Kathleen M.E. Mayer and Rachael H. Stein competed in the American Association for Justice National Student Trial Advocacy Competition.

Crim wins Russell Competition

Congratulations to first-year law student Lauren L. Crim for winning the 2016 Richard B. Russell Moot Court Competition and to all of the first-year law students who made this year’s tournament such a success. Crim also received the Morehead Best Oralist Award.
