Cohen led an "International Law as Behavior" workshop co-sponsored by Georgia Law and the American Society of International Law International Legal Theory Interest Group, in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 13. Presentations at the workshop will be chapters in a book Cohen is editing with the same title.


Georgia Law wins annual Georgia/Florida moot court competition

Georgia Law second-year students Aaron D. Parks and E. Keith Hall secured a win against the University of Florida at the annual Hulsey/Gambrell Moot Court Competition. The event is held each year at the end of October on the eve of the Georgia-Florida football game.


Peter B. “Bo” Rutledge named dean of Georgia Law

Peter B. “Bo” Rutledge, a leading scholar in the fields of international dispute resolution, arbitration and the U.S. Supreme Court, has been named dean of the University of Georgia School of Law following a national search. Rutledge, the Herman E. Talmadge Chair of Law, has served as the associate dean for faculty development at Georgia Law since 2013. His appointment as dean is effective Jan. 1.
