    Georgia Law's Land Use Clinic was highlighted in an article on best practices for teaching students about land use law and preparing them to practice in that area. Titled "Practically Grounded: Convergence of Land Use Law Pedagogy and Best Practices," the article was written by John R. Nolon and Patricia Salkin and appeared in Vol. 60 of the Journal of Legal Education (2010).

    The Center for International Trade and Security at the University of Georgia, jointly with Georgia Law's Dean Rusk Center and the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, will hold an advanced research workshop entitled “Legal Frameworks for Strengthening Nuclear Security and Combating Nuclear Terrorism” in Vienna, Austria. More than 80 international experts in the fields of nuclear law, antiterrorism and nuclear security will participate in the workshop.

    The University of Georgia School of Law will host a conference on International Human Rights and Climate Change Feb. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Larry Walker Room of Dean Rusk Hall located on North Campus. This daylong event will probe the question "What is the relationship between human rights and climate change?" Specifically, the conference will focus on the proper role of law in managing and regulating this relationship.
