Waller receives NALP Service Excellence Award

Associate Director of Career Development Tony Waller, who serves as the public interest and government employment specialist for the School of Law, has been awarded the National Association for Law Placement Service Excellence Award, which recognizes individuals who go "above and beyond and make notable contributions to NALP and its members."

Woodruff Chair in International Law Diane Marie Amann chaired the "Comparative Analysis: The Nuremberg and Tokyo International Military Tribunals" panel at the three-day International Nuremberg Principles Academy conference titled "70 Years Later: The International Military Tribunal for the Far East" held at the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg, Germany, during May.

And it's growing." was written by Lexie Schapitl and published 5/23/18. A Vox-produced Netflix show titled "Explained" delves more into the topic.

School of Law students travel the globe with summer legal opportunities

In the weeks ahead, 12 rising second- and third-year students at the School of Law will depart for Global Externship Overseas (GEO) and Global Externship At Home (GEA) placements all around the world. Administered by the Dean Rusk International Law Center, the GEO and GEA initiatives place School of Law students in externships lasting between four and 12 weeks, and offer students the opportunity to gain practical work experience in a variety of legal settings worldwide.
