U.S. Representative David Scott to speak on international finance

Georgia Law’s Dean Rusk Center will host Congressman David Scott for a presentation on international finance, particularly as it relates to the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, on Jan. 17 at 12:30 p.m. in the Larry Walker Room, Dean Rusk Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Georgia Law’s staff council presented Administrative Associate Tina M. Whitehair with the 2013 Emma P. Terrell Distinguished Employee Award last month. The award is given each year to an employee who demonstrates outstanding dedication and service to the law school.


Klinzing and Newell selected as semi-finalists in ABA Tax Challenge

Congratulations to third-year law student Morgan L. Klinzing and second-year law student Benjamin Newell for being selected as semi-finalists in the 2014 ABA Law Student Tax Challenge. Out of more than 70 teams, this duo is one of only six semi-finalists selected to advance in this national competition. They will compete in Arizona at the end of January.
