Eren and Fisher win Talmadge Moot Court Competition

Congratulations to second-year law students Scott S. Eren and R. Tyler Fisher for winning the 2010 Talmadge Moot Court Competition. Additionally, Samuel H. Sabulis was named as Best Oralist of the competition.


Law students secure trip to national championship round

Third-year law students Meredith C. Lee and Michael T. Rafi have secured a seat at the final rounds of the National Moot Court Competition after an outstanding performance during the regional tournament. Lee received the Best Advocate Award and Rafi was less than one point behind Lee in overall scores. The championship rounds will take place in New York in Jan. 2011.


UGA ranked fourth highest producer of Fulbright Scholars; recipients include School of Law professor

Associate Professor Peter B. "Bo" Rutledge has received a Fulbright Scholar grant to lecture and conduct research at the University of Vienna, Austria for the 2010-11 academic year. His project is entitled, "Dispute Resolution and the Constitution." Rutledge is one of four UGA professors who received the distinguished scholarship.
