One hundred of the fastest-growing companies owned or operated by former University of Georgia students were honored Jan. 30, when the UGA Alumni Association announced the “Bulldog 100: Fastest Growing Bulldog Businesses.” Among those recognized were four Georgia Law graduates: James L. Allgood (J.D.'00), Chris D. Clayton (J.D.'83), Samuel J. Grant (J.D.'00) and James H. Moore III (J.D.'81).

UGA School of Law finishes strong in moot court competition, advances to nationals

Two teams from the University of Georgia School of Law have earned the right to advance to the national rounds of the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition. Third-year student Elizabeth R. Givens and second-year student Kimberly C. Walker teamed up to capture second place in the southern regional rounds of the competition, while second-year students Selina A. Tom-Johnson and Jacinda R. Walker finished third out of 24 teams. Both teams will head to Boston this March to vie for the national crown.

Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Woodruff Chair in International Law Daniel M. Bodansky will deliver a faculty colloquium titled "The Copenhagen Climate Conference: A Post Mortem" at Wake Forest University School of Law.
