Former Distinguished Research Professor and Rogers Chair Alan Watson received the American Society of Comparative Law's Lifetime Achievement Award. The award "honor[s] living senior comparatists whose writings have changed the shape or direction of American comparative or private international law" and was presented to him at ASCL's annual meeting.
