UGA SCHOOL OF LAW HONORS EMPLOYEES FOR LONG SERVICE
ATHENS, GA. - Yesterday, the University of Georgia’s School of Law honored its long-term employees for their dedication and hard work.
At the school’s annual holiday luncheon, School of Law Dean David Shipley said it is important to recognize employees as they reach certain milestones in their career. “Length of employment provides a nice opportunity to acknowledge the dedication and service an employee has provided to an organization.”
“The law school is only as strong as its faculty and staff. As we continue to increase the school’s prominence and stature, our people are key. This is why it is critical to recognize them for their achievements,” he said.

Also honored at the luncheon were visiting faculty members, Professor

The School of Law’s holiday luncheon, which was held in Dean Rusk Hall’s
Larry Walker Room on North Campus, was attended by over 130 faculty and
staff.
