GEORGIA LAW FINISHES STRONG IN REGIONAL ROUND OF NATIONAL MOCK TRIAL COMPETITION

ATHENS, Ga. – University of Georgia law students advanced to the final round of the National Mock Trial Regional Competition held in Atlanta on Feb. 6-9 after defeating longtime rival Stetson University College of Law in the semifinals.  Unfortunately, the UGA advocates lost by a split decision to Georgia State University College of Law in the final round.

The School of Law’s team was comprised of third-year law students Brett M. Willis and Nathan A. Horsley, and second-year students Brian K. Mathis, T. K. Barnett and Francys Johnson.  The team was coached by Director of Advocacy Kellie Casey.
