How to Apply

J.D. Program

Georgia Law seeks to enroll an accomplished student body whose breadth of experiences and array of talents will enrich the educational experience for all students.  The admissions committee considers admission test scores and grade point averages to be significant measures upon which to base admission decisions, but committee members also recognize the importance of other components of the applicant's record, including but not limited to: character; community involvement; professional activities; employment experiences; undergraduate institution and major; graduate and professional school work; and state of residence.  The Admissions Committee will consider all LSAT scores but will rely primarily on the highest LSAT score if an applicant takes the LSAT more than once.

LL.M. Program

The University of Georgia (Master of Laws) LL.M. Program offers a limited number of qualified and highly motivated persons who already hold law degrees the opportunity to pursue an individually fashioned program of course work in areas of law in which they are professionally interested. Campus Security Report

Each fall, in compliance with federal law, the University of Georgia publishes a campus security website titled "Safe & Secure."  This site contains statistics about crimes that occurred on campus during the previous three calendar years as well as information about preventing and reporting crimes.  The report can be found at: http://www.uga.edu/safeandsecure.
