Biographical Information:

Geoff Weirich is a nationally recognized employment law expert, providing advice, consulting and alternative dispute resolution services through his solo practice firm, Weirich Consulting and ADR.  For over 30 years, as a partner in the employment law practice of Paul Hastings, Weirich represented major employers throughout the nation in class and collective actions brought under federal and state employment law statutes.  Now, he focuses on helping to prevent or end such litigation – both by providing top-level legal and strategic advice to avoid disputes and by serving as a mediator or arbitrator to help resolve disputes outside of the court system.  He is the currently active co-author of Employment Discrimination Law, 5th ed. (Bloomberg BNA, 2012), which is the official treatise of the American Bar Association in the EEO field.

Weirich is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and he has been listed repeatedly in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers.  He was selected among the top 25 labor and employment lawyers in the world by Expert Guides.  He attended Michigan State University, where he received a B.A., with honors, in economics as well as a M.A., with highest honors, in labor and industrial relations. He earned his J.D., with high honors, from Duke University School of Law, where he was a member of Order of the Coif and the executive editor of The Duke Law Journal.
