An Experienced and Diverse Class

Members of the Class of 2016 include: a TV show producer; ferry boat Marine Captain; college professors; a basketball coach; a tennis instructor; a global LEAD scholar; dance instructors; a nanny; musicians and vocalists; teachers; youth leaders; paralegals; research assistants; actors and costume designers; varsity athletes in basketball, baseball, cheerleading, swimming, rowing, and equestrian; members of the marching band, mock trial team, debate team, fraternities, sororities, and honor societies; participants in marathons and triathlons; military veterans; and volunteers for national, state, and local political campaigns.

Members of the Class of 2016 worked: in the United States Senate and House of Representatives, for private law firms, state supreme courts; state governments, prosecutors, and public defenders ; and for corporations including Ritz-Carlton, Starbucks, Circuit City, Wal-Mart, and Disney World.

Members of the Class of 2016 volunteered for: Girls Read!; The Sierra Club; Habitat for Humanity; Make-A-Wish Foundation; Adopt-A-Family; Joshua Center for Homeless Women; March of Dimes, Inc.; Boys and Girls Club of America; Meals on Wheels; Relay for Life; YMCA; and in various local food banks, women’s shelters, homeless shelters, youth development groups, and humane societies.
